MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of The Global Give to select financially struggling communities in the U.S. and abroad during the holiday season and make sure that each and every child in the community receives a gift. The Global Give operates in a responsible manner that aims to uphold the local culture and customs of every town that we partner with. The first, and most important, step in the giving process is to put the organization and leadership of the gift distribution in the hands of the community.

Through our contacts in the chosen regions, site visits, and extensive research The Global Give is able to select towns that are in need of generosity and assistance during the holiday season. We partner with the community to ensure that all of the children in need receive gifts in a fair manner and that your generosity is widely welcomed.

Knowing that donations coming from an outside source can be a sensitive issue we will only donate to a community if we know that our services will not cause a negative disturbance among the citizens. The gifts purchased will be placed in the hands of a very few predetermined and trusted community members so that they may be distributed in an efficient, effective, and fair method that will be closely supervised. The program does not wish to receive any recognition for the gifts it supplies with the aim of empowering the community.

Due to difficulties with customs, the majority of the gifts will be purchased in country so that there is no risk of wasting donations on confiscated items. With this in mind we urge you to donate money online or via cash/check so that we can ensure that all of the gifts make it into needy and deserving hands.
